A person at peace can always recognize the abuser, the user, the passive aggressive backstabber. However, those who are living in that chaotic world cannot see themselves or others. Step back and see if your life is full of chaos and dysfunction. Are you constantly drained and confused? If so, its time for some changes. When you are in an unhealthy relationship you cannot truly be effective or the person God has called you to be because youve allowed all that poison inside of you and are now toxic. That poison spills out of you onto others - or at least the ones who allow it into their lives. Yes, these are hard words to swallow. If you are choking on them perhaps its time for change and to clean the toxins from your mind, soul, and heart.
