A pivot is the fixed part of a machine about which there is free - TopicsExpress

A pivot is the fixed part of a machine about which there is free movement. This leads me to the question what is the meaning of DOUBLE pivot in a 4 2 3 1 formation. Matic and Cesc form that at Chelsea normally Matic is the fixed immoveable part of the machine whiles Fab roams freely to join the attack etc. In a like manner though not likely to to happen often Matic can roam whiles Cesc holds. I see a single pivot in the above scenario. What makes this a double pivot?
