A pleasure to post this brief video of a NZ legend still doing it (2011) many years after I first saw Maurice one life changing moment at The Bo Peep Club Auckland around 1967. Later in 1969 my band would support The Human Instinct at Hatchetts night Club. I think it would be safe to say Maurice Greer had a huge influence in my life and Im a guitar player!! For starters..Hes certainly responsible for my catching the Jaguar disease!!. In those times it was par for the course to be wolf whistled at and generally sneered for having long hair and wearing 60s fashion...But Maurice was out on his own in Auckland NZ. Bright long red hair with appropriate close fitting rock star/British attire must have been difficult to perpetuate in the city of sails circa mid 1960s.
