A poem To Grieve To feel the breaking of a heart To understand - TopicsExpress

A poem To Grieve To feel the breaking of a heart To understand the sorrow of the grieving To know why the tears fall down my cheeks Oh when you know the suffering that is entangled in each breath! But can one truly understand the sorrow of another? Can you truly understand the pain? To hear the weeping each night And see the wet pillow in the morning To feel the tears streaking down my cheeks To know the feeling of truly breaking And the hollow feeling that sits in the pit of my stomach To scream and cry People question why some people want to die When they go through the process of grieving One reason I find, Is because death offers a sweet alternative to the pain Grieving is kind of like dancing in the rain While the rain may be cold, and the wind bitter Dancing in the rain offers some hope that though the weather may suffer now At the end and in the midst of the storm Things are growing Living, breathing, hoping and moving on in life There is hope yet The tears may fall each night And my heart may break more than it should But you must understand that without the breaking How would I ever be who I am? How would you ever know if my smile was genuine or not? To grieve is to grow To grieve is to love To grieve... Is not the end of the world There is hope for a full life yet Dance in your rain Smile through the pain Remember well The promise
