A poem for two dear friends.... What is a friend... A cup of water on harsh summer days. An arm round your shoulder in caring displays. The sound of encouragement in darkest of nights. Companion and comrade in fiercest of fights... A friend can bring laughter to hearts broken sore. A word in due season to strengthen us more. With joy for the jjourney and rest for the soul. Someone you can lean on when weakness takes hold. A gift from our god with jesus inside. A most precious treasure with us to abide. Standing beside or across many miles. A friends love is priceless all wrapped up in smiles. So treasure it greatly if you have a friend. Look closely and see our sweet savior within. Learn from their wisdom that comes from above .
