***A posting worth reading*** Winter is typified by cold, lifeless. barren, fruitless and shorter days....It is a season that can be difficult to handle for some. it may cause depression. As seasons come and go. So do relationships. In a culture that lacks norms, there are broken families, broken marriages, job losses ect..and loss of friends. Being connected is often challenging. People dont commit to things, they dont have the time and the landscape of faces is forever changing... Nothing stays the same. Busyness robs rest and connectiveness. This sounds like a depressing rant, for me its what I see. What is the value of your life and worth? We can throw scriptures and words at situations, but does that really and truly benefit the situation? It can, but there is something more we can do. We often call folks when we need something , but wont think twice about dropping a line or a note to express we care when we are not in need. On Facebook we like people stuff, zoom through the news feeds and dont take the time to spend time with others typing a note, or following up with a call. Some solutions for dryness in a lifeless seasons.: So, We are filled with love, give love. Filled with hope, share hope. Filled with faith, pray.... Reach outside of self, minister life to others and to a world thats hungry.. Love is mean to be given. Take the time to give the life you been given to others and get filled up from God to give more... Again and Again.. Share the Gospel of truth.
