A precious promise is found in Isa. 45:22 " Look unto me and be saved...for I am God, and there is none else". This was the text that brought Charles Spurgeon to Christ. He attended a small chapel one snowy morning and the preacher pointed to him and said " young man, look and live ". And he did ! Have you looked away from your religious background and turned in simple faith to Jesus? It is not our earnestness.good works, prayers, or self denial but faith alone that connects the longing soul to the Saviour. Are you His? Then rejoice in His finished work.
