A press release by the field hospital in RabaaAlAdawiyya on the massacre of the memorial Salute to our faithful martyrs and our heroic wounded people, the leaders of the bloody coup still prove day after day they are the totally irresponsible to rule Egypt, and that every day passes of their reignmeans innocent blood will be shed, means basic freedoms will be lost, means the sanctity will be violated, means civilization will lose its humane and moral pillars. What happened in "breaking up the coup"Friday (26/07/2013) and Saturday morning at the memorialwere shameful massacres, where 66 martyrs were killed in addition to 61 cases of clinicaldeath, bringing the total to 127 all killed in cold blood, as well as about 4,500 protestersinjured, mostly serious injuries. On our behalf, we like to emphasize the following: 1) We hold the coup leaders full responsiblefor this blood shed and demand an urgent and honest international investigation about this massacre. 2) This massacre came as a direct result of the alleged delegacy requestedby AlSisifrom the people without any right, in an unprecedented way in the history of Egypt and the world under the claim of fighting terrorism and extremism, and we wonder has everyone who defies the bloody coup and defend democracy become a terrorist and an extremist, although using peaceful means to express rejection?!! 3) The injuries have ranged between 700 injured by gunshots, broken bones, and birdshots, as well as more than 3,500 cases of gas cramps and suffocation, and hundreds of other cases treated in hospitals and medical centers not counted so far. 4) the entire square turned into a field hospital, and almost all medicines and medical supplies ran out because of the terrible increase in the number of martyrs and injured, the doctors and medical personnel suffered from intense fatigue and strain remaining receiving cases for the duration of the massacre, which was almost 12 hours. 5) We also noted that the method of dealing with the peaceful demonstrators in all its details was totally against international law and norms, for what was done is: - The use of a new type of gas that causescramps, convulsions, or loss of control of consciousness, which requires an analysis of its contents to make sure if it contains materials that violate international law, and has been used extensively and severely that it is not only a way to cause temporary suffocation but became a tool of direct killing. - Use of live rounds very heavily by the security forces, with a focus on the head and the heart for the purpose of intentionalmurder. - The use of military helicopter guns to fire bullets directly towards the demonstrators in Atfeeh in Giza, causing serious injuries as well as martyrs. - Impair the arrival of ambulances and ban the increase their number to deal with the escalating numbers of the wounded and dead. - Prevent government hospitals near the square from receiving the injured or crush restricting them. - The use of snipers belonging to the security forces to cause the killing of the largest number of martyrs. - Besieging mosques and violating its sanctity and allowing thugs to break into it and assault women and children, as happened in AlQaedIbrahim mosque in Alexandria. 6) We condemn the ignoring and neglecting stance from the governmental and private media coverage of the proceedings of the massacre, which continued to broadcast a dubious image of AlTahrir and AlIttihadiyyasupporting the coup blind bias to one party, beside displaying works of art and performances while these genocides were being committed. 7) We also condemn the weakness and silence of most of the political and religious forces not condemning the massacre, and in particular Sheikh Al-Azhar, who did not mind the use of the roofs of the university colleges in sniping and killing the Egyptians. 8) We also emphasize that this massacre is a desperate attempt by the putschiststo consolidate the pillars of a reign on its way to extinction. 9) We also confirm that we will strive to bring all the killers perpetrators of the massacre to justice and we will prosecute them criminally and internationally about the crimes they had committed, and we call upon the peoples and governments of the free world to condemn and reject this massacre. 10) In the end, we assert that the blood of the martyrs who fell and the sacrifices they have made will only make us steadfast to go ahead with our defiance to the coup and defending the return of legitimacy represented in the elected President and the Egyptian constitution that reflects the will of the people of Egypt, and the Shura Council, and we warn that the coup or its security forces might commit terrorist acts and falsely claim the peacefuldemonstrators responsible, to justify the massacres against them, and for the hundredth time we stress that our demonstrations are peaceful and civilizational, we reject violence in all its forms and consider the peaceful rejection of the coup is the source of its strength and victory over the putschists, their desperate attempts to drag us into a civil war in which everyone loses will fail, greetings again to the lives of our faithful martyrs and the injured, and God save Egypt and its people from all evil.
