A question for my lawyer friends: The medical examiner ruled - TopicsExpress

A question for my lawyer friends: The medical examiner ruled James Bradys death a homicide as a result of the gunshot wound he suffered in an assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan in 1981. Both men came within minutes of death in the operating room after the assassination attempt, so when Reagan died why wasnt his death ruled a homicide as well? Is it because Brady had obvious, debilitating mental and physical issues as a result of the shooting? Is it known with certainty that Reagan didnt also suffer lasting effects that contributed to his death? Also, if Hinckley doesnt face new charges, will his privileges be curtailed now? wapo.st/1pGRnae
