A question for the UK Clash headz - I just watched this clip from July 2013 at the monthly event 45 Shop Lock which as many of you would know is a monthly event held in UKs clash capital Birmingham by the Luv Injection crew. What i have noticed about the UK clash dances compared to say clash dances in NY/Toronto/Antigua (Which has been for some time crowned as the Caribbean clash capital) Florida,Europe etc is that the UK dances seem to be at times lacking the same intensity as the places I just mentioned......I think its fair there is more clash dances happening in mainland Europe than in the UK which 20 years ago would have been considered impossible. Now watching this video I know its the "earlies" but I really have to wonder about the state of clash culture in the UK which at one point was the mecca for reggae music outside of Jamaica certainly when i was a teenager. There has definitely been a clash resurgence in New York which was going through a quite period, Florida has always had a clash hype and Toronto has a healthy scene......I think what Luv Injection crew is doing with the 45 shoot out concept is a fantastic idea but it might need more of these events in places like Manchester, London,Bristol to help regrow the clash culture or am i under the wrong impression!!!! youtube/watch?v=Pc3f5JP1nb4#t=1452
