A question from a Spanish teacher: Beth says: "I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for articles, research, etc which highlight that children beginning Spanish in K-1st will be stronger in their comprehension than their speaking abilities. We have a curriculum overview next week for these grades and I want to emphasize to parents that their children will not be leaving Kindergarten being fluent Spanish speakers, but will be able to comprehend better. ¡Gracias!"
