Read: Psalm 40:1-7; 30:5 (KJV) He Established My Goings I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. Blessed is that man that makes the Lord his trust, and respects not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered (Psalm 40:1-5). It’s wonderful to know amidst humans weaknesses and God’s displeasure with His created beings, that “His favor is for life” and ‘weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning”’ (Ps. 30:5); if we will wait on the Lord and allowed Him to established all our actions. The psalmist and song writer says “I waited for the Lord my God and patiently did bear; at length to me He did incline my voice and cry to hear. He took me from a fearful pit, and from the miry clay, and on a rock He set my feet, ‘Establishing my way”’__R S #483. Friends, God’s Words are true! He is able to take care of us’ if we honor Him in praises and trust Him! _A. D.
