A quick little thought, the style in which Alan writes and delivers his lyrics in Primordial reminds me a lot of Martin Walkyier, especially in his Skyclad days. Difference being I find Alan is a lot more poetic and metaphorical than Walkyier in expressing how he feels about the subjects on what he writes. Walkyier though is a lot more... blunt sorry for the lack of a better word but their writing styles are very similar so I probably think Alan could have had some influence from Sabbat and possibly Skyclad and for anyone who hasnt heard of Martin Walkyier, Ill leave a link to a song WITH lyrics https://youtube/watch?v=oy2CZRb_9XE its part of a concept album, well not really a story but the theme is that of life in Thatcherite England. Truth be told, I would love to one day be as good at writing lyrics as Alan is and Walkyier is. Its nothing short of talent. Hell, talent is putting it lightly. :O
