8 years have gone by that Ive been involved with the father of my children,He has struggled with anger , selfishness and addiction. For one reason or another I have given him chance after chance to fix his mess on his own which has been unsuccessful. Ive tried planting the seed with the word of God Ive dragged him to church Ive read my bible to him Ive prayed with him, Ive prayed for him just for God to soften his heart and make this miraculous change in him, and he still seem to be content in living unclean. Last Friday something happened to him where he was faced with death, God chose to give him his life and apparently had other plans for him. I received a message from him asking for my help, he told me he was sick of living his life this way and that he needed to go somewhere so he can get better. I didnt believe him, not that he has ever asked for help before, but Ive heard so many lies that I just didnt know what to think. I gave him information for a place and also called the facility myself and we were successful. Billy will be checking into teen challenge on Monday which is a Christ centered rehabilitation center that is 12-18 months of learning how to live a clean healthy life. I would appreciate prayers that he will complete this program and be able to give his boys a dad they can look up to. Sorry for the long post but I felt like this was something important to share.
