Transition year students and parents of Transition Year students: If youre in Transition Year, or are the parent of a child in Transition Year, with an interest in software development, we at Ericsson have launched our Transition Year Work Experience Programme in our offices at Clonskeagh, Dublin. Heres the formal announcement: We are pleased to announce the launch of our Transition Year Work Experience Programme in Clonskeagh, Dublin. This week long classroom-based programme is open to Transition Year students and replaces all other Transition Year placement initiatives. The programme will include a combination of programming, a group project (using Agile methodology for software development) and an introduction to a variety of technologies. The programme will be run over two specified weeks, each with a maximum of 12 participants: • Mon 23rd March - Fri 27th March 2015 • Mon 20th April - Fri 24th April 2015 The closing date for receipt of applications is Saturday 31st January 2015 so please encourage Transition Year students, that you know might be interested, to apply over their Christmas break.
