A quick note of thanks: Im wrapping up what will ultimately be my best month for traffic ever. My site has been viewed more times in June than it has in any other month, and yet Ive actually put out less content. Meanwhile, Facebook keeps monkeying with its algorithm, making it harder for pages like mine to reach fans. Theyre trying to back us into a corner where we have to pay to promote our content, and many pages have been forced to acquiesce. But Ive actually had better reach this month than ever before, and thats only because you guys consistently come here, read my work, and share it. Facebook can play whatever games it likes, but none of it matters if people are actually sharing your content. So thanks for supporting my efforts. For every troll sending me a death wish, a hundred of you are sending encouragement and well wishes. That keeps me going, and I appreciate it. You have my gratitude. Finally, although the Facebook changes havent hurt me yet, nobody knows what might happen in the future. Thats why its really important that I build my email list, so that I can send you my posts if ever Facebook decides to officially drop the hammer on us.
