A quick trip to London today to Turn the Pages of the 3 RAMC Books of Remembrance in Westminster Abbey for August, before I go on leave. The next formal ceremony is on the 4th October at 1100hrs sharp. The Turning Party will be from 335 Medical Evacuation Regiment with the RAMC Association Ulster Branch Standard on parade. All are welcome to attend this brief, but very important ceremony. The online version of the books is almost complete. The final checks are being done by the Regimental Secretary and myself, and it will go live on the 1st September. The Director RAMC, Maj Gen Rowan, has done an excellent forward at the start and is a recommended read. Once live you will be able to browse and search the names of the fallen from the comfort if home. As soon as it goes live I will post the link.
