A quick update from our Chief of Police, in response to your questions about campus safety. We are adding more patrols in the late evening hours, and will be working with Housing on additional safety programming for students. Ive appreciated all the conversation and concern--I know how difficult it must be to worry from far away. But as has already been noted, crime is a fact of life, and there are skills to be learned in response. Well do our best to help support your students as they learn those skills, and, simultaneously, we will continue to take additional action to continue to address the issue with our police and staff.
