A quick word of thanks to all the those who made camp 2014 possible! To our intrepid team of leaders who span all three sections of our group, and who helped organise the camp, sort equipment in the Den and gave additional time to volunteer in running camp 2014 - your time, effort and enthusiasm is, as always, greatly appreciated! To the Scouts Troop who - from what they have told us, enjoyed the camp and requested a longer one next year, well done on all the campcraft, knot work - the Icelandic and lightweight tent pitching and carrying out the tasks assigned! A lot of learning has been done, and we will do our best to built on this from September! To Deirdre Quinn who provided the Garda Bus for us to come to camp - to run off-site activities, and take us home - a huge Thank You. To the organisations who catered for off-site activities, particularly Jamie Knox Water sports in the Maherees, the Scouts loved every second of it and will be back again! To the ODowd family who operate OConnors Bar & Guest House in Cloghane where our camp was held - we can safely say the venue is highly recommended for any troop thinking of camping in the Kingdom! To all those who followed and liked/retweeted our updates on Facebook and Twitter - its great to know the online activity was being followed! And last but no least - to those who transported equipment too and from the camp site - Thank You, its appreciated! Heres to Camp 2015!
