A race with variety There was steep climbs and gentle climbs, long climbs, shorter climbs, technical climbs and fire road climbs, there was was flowing single track, technical single tack, wide single, tight single track, the trail surface changed from sand, gravel, clay, rock gardens, grass, boulders. The descents had as much variety. Long techy ,short techy, Large boulders, small drops, steep section , open berms. And riders also had to contend with the threat of the Yowie Even the weather changed from dark grey clouds to sun shine. The standard of skill shown on the day was awesome. Congrats on finishing a tough and challenging mountain bike race. Who were you racing , how did you finish?
