A random thought. I love that I am living in a decade when, more than ever before, people are accepting of things they dont understand. I can be in an interracial relationship, but I can walk dont most Avenues with my interracial family and not be jeered or catch looks. When my city can have a billionaire, and the 99% living on the same street and he can comfortably read a book on his front porch in the spring. When I can have a Mormon and an Atheist for best friends. And not try to convert each other, but instead bring appreciated perspective to a conversation. A decade where- should my unborn daughter or son be created LGBT, they will never have to hide or try to change who they are. A black man can stand with Michael Brown, and still have white cops for homies. Just saying.... We can complain all day. But we still live in the greatest moment of the greatest nation, in the history of this planet. Be happy people.
