A rare black and white color, the distinctive Express Clydesdales serve as Goodwill Ambassadors for Express Employment Professionals. These gentle giants stand six feet high at the shoulder, weigh over 2,000 pounds, and prance with hooves the size of dinner plates. Enamored by their unique color and enormous size, Bob Funk immediately recognized the potential popularity of these gentle giants if transferred from their native, cold Canadian climate into the southern part of the United States. Bob was right. Following their arrival in 1999, the popularity of the Clydesdales spread quickly. They were stealing the show at equine competitions, parades, community events, and state fairs.
