A rare sight tomorrow Oct 31st as The ANZAC troop train celebrates 100 years since the lads took off to answer the call with their mates in WW1. Join many others to enjoy the spectacle that volunteers have laboured over to ensure the service runs smoothly in tribute to the servicemen and womens memory and sacrifice. The special train leaves Midland at 10 am and travels through Perth to Fremantle passing all the stations and you are welcome to join in and wave in celebration. I sincerely hope we can see more of these journeys from Hotham Valley using their well maintained old trains taking us to country towns for day trips or overnight stays.
