A reader asks: my son is 22months old and was always a pretty good sleeper, maybe only waking for his dummy then going back to sleep. Three times this week he has woken up during the night screaming and wont settle even when picked up. If we do end up putting him in our bed he stops crying and just rolls around and chats with no sign of going to sleep! since we are not used to this late night playful boy we are really feeling the tiredness! any advise would be great to help him settle again.. we tried pain relief in case of teething but no joy! usually at bedtime he has a small bottle of milk then we lie him down and drifts off to sleep in his own time... it has worked like this for so long now! :(:(:(
