A recent story of mine for Runway Girl Network about Uniteds in-flight wifi systems. United was slow to deploy and the initial months of service were all sorts of a mess. Some would say it isnt much better yet. Seems that perhaps it is not Uniteds fault alone for the troubles, however. Both of their vendor partners have acknowledged the troubles experienced and, in both cases, suggest that they were unable to deliver on what they had promised to United when signing the deals. Oops.
