~A reminder to all young parents/families that there is a FREE naturopathic medical clinic that runs in Victoria every second Saturday of the month. The clinic is funded to offer treatment to young families, including parents and children (with current funding one parent needs to be 30 years or under) on low income/no benefits. Youll be seen by 4th-year naturopathic students who travel over from Vancouver to run the clinic ~ with all prescriptions and physical exams/treatments reviewed/signed off by a licensed ND. This includes full western physical, pap/dr exams and eastern diagnosis of tongue and pulse. Treatments available are acupuncture, chiropractic, nutritional (eastern and western perspectives), herbal and homeopathic. As much as possible treatment plans are grassroots with affordable/accessible information, and free supplements such as probiotics, Omega 3 oils, herbal formulas are given whenever available.
