A report from Palominas and the Highway 92 bridge over the San Pedro River at flood stage last Thursday by Weather Nation. This location is just 4 miles north of the border wall. That same day, mine water from Cananea, MX spilled into the San Pedro River. Extent of contamination unknown at present, but state and federal authorities are sampling on both sides of the border. Needless to say, AVOID CONTACT with river water or water pumped near the river until sampling reports yield an all clear.
