A report from the Michigan Fresh Unprocessed Whole Milk Workgroup is now available to the public. Canadians interested in helping us decriminalize raw milk so we can have access through cow or herd shares really should read this workgroup report. It was compiled over 6 years and involves highly trained and credentialed individuals as well as farmers. The cost for Canadians is $35 US and it can be ordered from MI Fresh Milk Council, PO Box 242, Chelsea, MI 48118. US money orders or cheques are to be made to Peggy Beals. For those Canadian government employees reading our posts, this is what we need in Canada. Either Federally or Provincially or better yet, both. We need open communication and a workable solution to the consumer demand for raw milk. If government is really concerned with public health and safety, then let this open dialogue begin.
