Stop looking for the next big thing!! Just stick to something. you know what I think will make me a better runner? New running shoes! no, MORE RUNNING will make you a better runner. I think if I change gyms, Ill really start bulking up... Or you could just go to the one youre at more often! We are hardwired to seek out new experiences, its part of our caveman survival instinct. We follow the green grass, the herd, we move into brighter clearings... all necessary for a species to propagate and grow. Its why advertisers change their packaging, and their names and logos (snickers anyone?) BUT, if youre constantly looking around, looking for the next gimmick to make you thin, you will NEVER get there. whats better, 8-minute abs, or Ab-blast? Insanity or Armageddon, swimming or running? Atkins diet, low GI, or cavemen diet?... Red shoes or blue shoes?!?! Heres a fact - WHAT you do, is largely unimportant... HOW OFTEN you do it is the key. Be consistent, stick with it for more than 5 minutes, STOP stopping and starting, stop making excuses and looking for magic answers. Consistency, sustainability, determination, in whatever you choose to do, is the key. Its not the thing being done, its the person doing it.
