A setting of John McCraes poem In Flanders Fields, which I composed it to commemorate the centenary of World War 1. So far it has been performed by 3 different choirs at various events. Next week we will be performing it on a trip to the battlefields in Belgium. Comments about the piece include its a beautiful piece of music, well written and emotionally effective, it has melodic line which conveys the mood of the poem effectively, the piece has such haunting and melancholic qualities.
