A significant severe weather event is forecast across portions of the Upper Midwest into the Ohio Valley. Initial threat area will be across portions of Iowa, NW Illinois, and SW Wisconsin, where strong winds, large hail, and tornadoes are possible. With time...thunderstorms are expected to develop into a fast-moving squall line with primary threats being widespread damaging winds and embedded tornadoes. A few wind gusts in excess of 75 mph are possible as the line moves rapidly east across the southern Great Lakes and Ohio Valley this evening and tonight.
