A slow and steady recovery ride. It was a beautiful thing until the end of the ride, the friend I was riding with fell....two construction vehicles were parked across from one another making it a narrow passageway to go through....in the community where we were riding, some kids came flying through the opening on a golf cart causing us to swerve to the right and she hit a manhole cover and was thrown from the bike. Road rash, sore shoulder, sore left side, and bloody spots. We are both quite shaken.
