A special form of the Prayers of the People for all college students taking exams right now. Lord, we pray for our student body; That we all may be one. Grant that every student may truly seek wisdom and learning; That our coursework may come before partying, at least most of the time. We pray for all professors, adjuncts, and TA’s; That they may be faithful and effective teachers of classes, graders of papers, and herders of cats. Give us the strength, motivation, and coffee to do our best in all that we undertake; That our works may find favor in Your sight, and in the sight of whoever is grading them. Have compassion on those who are suffering; That they may be delivered from the dining hall food. Grant to those who have graduated eternal job security; Let gainful employment perpetual shine upon them. We pray for our friends who have entered into graduate school; That we may also come to share in that scholarly kingdom.
