A special lesson If they are not singing in the car, they are playing pretend or worse, squabbling! Whatever the case, there is always noise and I always begrudge my husband that he has a whole 5 days of car silence when he goes to work whilst Im stuck with noise. Loud noise at that. But the headache I had was unbearable last week and so I pleaded for them to be quiet and to just look outside the car window to enjoy the sights and lo and behold, they found not just a rainbow but two!! They immediately said hello to Ama and Nana, so sure that the rainbows were smiling down upon them represented by their grandmothers who left us last month. And then the car went under a highway and buildings all around blocked the rainbow view and the noise started again. I told them, See who can spot the most dustbins outside!! Tessa: Mom, this is Malaysia. We hardly have any dustbins......(OMG, so negative) Tia: I cant find any dustbins, Mamaaaaaa......... Me: It only means you arent looking hard enough. Tessa: There! I found one! DBKL orange dustbin!! And there!! Theres another!!! Tia: How come my side has no dustbins? *sulk mode on* And so the car journey continues....
