A special night that Captain Jack and his First Mate look forward to celebrating every year. We celebrated the 73rd Annual Liberty USO Ball event at the Marriott, Center City Philadelphia with many of our military friends. All that know my hubby and me understand that the USO holds a special spot in our hearts. This non-profit organization is devoted 100% to assisting our troops. They are in every airport in the United States and this is where our men and women, serving in harm’s way can relax, shower, get a hot meal and hug. Tonight, this black tie fund raiser was “OVER THE TOP.” Our Master of Ceremonies was Via Sikahema, and the US Under Secretary of Defense, Major General Jessica Wright, US Army (Ret.) received the Liberty Award. GOD BLESS AMERICA and all that serve and keep our country safe. Kudos to Dana Spain, Ken Wong and Joe Brooks for putting this event together. They scored a perfect ten.
