A special thanks..... Hi everyone. We just want to say thank you for making the first annual Giro d’Vino ride such a great extravaganza. It was so wonderful to see everyone come together for this event and share in this wonderful time as a community. The owners of Valenzano were so impressed with the turnout, our upbeat attitude and the generosity of our club. They were so excited about the whole event that they invited us to come back next year and are expecting an even bigger crowd. The Rock It Riders want to take a moment to thank a whole group of people that without their help this ride/event could not have been so successful: 1) Thanks to the all the riders who stepped up to lead rides and help sweep. Your assistance helped make the ride fun for everyone. 2) Thanks to all the volunteers who helped at the registration table. Lucero, Vickie and Kathy. 3) Thanks to Rich and Larry of Wheelies Bike Shop for their reliable and dependable sag support . 4) Thanks to Frank the owner of Upper Crust Pizza for delivering a delicious pizza on time. 5) Thanks to Mark, Anthony, Julie and the whole staff at Valenzano for hosting the event and making it memorable. 6) Thanks to everyone at the rest stops for going out of their way to welcome us. This group includes: Mick’s Canoe and Kayak Rental, Hot Diggity Dog, Russo’s and Farmer John. 7) And finally the Rock It Riders want to thank all of you all for participating in the Giro d”Vino. By doing so, you all made the Giro d’ Vino such a legendary and memorable event. Jorge and I also want to say how much we appreciate being a part of such a great community of cyclists. Arrivederci!
