A spectacular late September weekend has been forecasted for the southern Maine coast with temperatures perhaps reaching 80 degrees? Why not make a visit to the Van Ward Gallery if you are in town on this summerlike autumn day? The Gallery has incredible art on its walls...12 Woodbury paintings are hanging now and many prints. Just arrived are a watercolor by Robert Eric Moore and an ink and dry brush work by Stow Wengeroth...oh and a couple of beautiful abstract acrylics by Tom Glover too. Contemporary artists Michael Palmer, Jon Marshall, Peter Roux, Norman West, and Dewitt Hardy are well represented as well as Ceramicist Kevin Keiser and many Period painters also. The Van Ward will begin closing Columbus Day weekend (only two full weeks away) but until its official hours are Thursday-Monday 10a - 5p and by chance or special appointment. So come on by and say hello to Chris...and see the beautiful art too. (If you need a visual infusion of Charles Woodbury artwork youd be challenged to find more anyway else for public viewing!)
