A splendid evening! Liza went out with a bang. The audience was fun and fierce and as always I am so humbled to anyone who will stand up for me at the end of a performance. Keep em coming, they keep me on my toes and make me want to work just that much harder to please with each and every show. New songs included Lizas special tribute to her disco days at Studio 54 and her own special rendition of Im Glad Im Not Young Anymore (which included a dig at Peter Mac). The evening was capped off when Miss Minnelli asked her very special surprise guest to close the night with a song...that guest was Judy Mama Garland, who (clad in her 1963 Ray Agyhan Christmas gown) gave the audience a sneak peak of her up coming Christmas show and closed out the evening with Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. Much gratitude to the Opus, Stef, M.C. and everyone who makes it happen week after week.
