A stark reminder why weve always chose destinations far away from our own countrymen.. Goodness! We are so ugly! 1. Parents who either let their kids do all kinds of nonsense and totally impolite. 2. Parents who are over-extreme in admonishing their kids too. 3. People who think youre the lift doorman, without a please or a thank you. 4. People who think service staff are also supposed to do pedicures for you. 5. Drivers who once cross SG immigration, think theyre driving Formula 1 cars! We are an inconsiderate, impolite and arrogant bunch! Then, overheard Malaysian taxi drivers going at Singapore and Singaporean drivers non-stop, in their own discussions. Also conversing in disgusted awe, over how fines can happen so easily on our roads and how our cabbies jam on brakes to claim insurance. They even wondered how Singaporeans live with all these. Paying corrupt cops on the roads seem to be less oppressive then paying fines under a legalized, clean system. Me?? Speechless.. I wanted so much to defend my nation but theres just too many truths in what they said. Sigh..
