A strange summer isnt it? There are many of you loving the cool but after the winter we had, some would like a real taste of summer. So far the highest temperature of the summer is 88° (5 times) - thats the coolest ever on record. The only summer that didnt produce a 90° day (2004) reached 89° For the time being its a fall-like feel - and stunning for a mid August with max temp of 70° - the normal for October 3rd, and for many the temperature this afternoon did not get out of the 60s! Clouds are breaking late day so for some the skies may brighten - we are headed to clear skies later tonight and chilly temperature for mid August. Since Friday, showers have been in the area but drier days and warmer ones are on the way. Wednesday will be mild and beautiful, warming in earnest begins late weekend and into early next week. Another run at 90°? yes, Monday could get there, depends on rain and storm coverage - something we will fine tune in the days ahead.
