A subject that has always weighed heavily on my heart and mind since the first time I read of an incident of a child dying in a car. Since then I still to this day crack All my windows in the warm months. Would this save a child? No most likely not but, it is a reminder to me to always think. Im glad Ive maintained this habit even though my children are all old enough to let themselves out of a car. Im going to be a grandma and Ill be starting over with babies in car seats. Such a horrible tragedy and I cant fathom the guilt and self hate a parent must feel after such a horrible oversight. So new parents, grandparents, busy parents find something, someway to always make yourself ask yourself wheres the baby before you leave your vehicle.
