A teacher at the Omuulukila Primary School in the Omusati region was on Thursday shot dead by her boyfriend, who then turned the gun on himself at the same spot. The teacher, identified as 30-year-old Victorina Amunyela from Epumbu village in the Ongandjera District, died at the Tobias Hainyeko location at Outapi. Her boyfriend, 33-year-old Kashimba Petrus, a naval officer at Walvis Bay, allegedly entered the house and found Amunyela dressed and ready to go to school. A domestic worker heard Amunyela screaming for help followed by gun shots and ran to the neighbours for assistance. Amunyela leaves behind a four-year-old boy, who was unharmed.
