A team of intrepid Royal Marines have pulled their kayaks ashore at Eastney beach following an epic 26 hour, 86-nautical mile paddle from France to the UK which is equivalent to the distance between Paris and the Belgian border. The six kayakers paddled from the Corps historic D-Day landmark of Port en Bessin, Normandy to the Royal Marines Museum in Eastney, as part of the Royal Marine’s 1664 Challenge.
