A thief or thieves broke into a Wasilla home and got right to - TopicsExpress

A thief or thieves broke into a Wasilla home and got right to work, stealing $1,200 worth of tools they wont ever need unless theyre considering a switch of trades. Alaska State Troopers are asking the publics help in nabbing the suspects. Troopers arrived at the home on Pinnacle Peak Drive at about 9:15 a.m. December 16 and found that the culprits made off with two DeWalt saws, a table saw and a miter saw, each valued at $600. The theft and burglary is thought to have occurred between 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area or who has information regarding the theft is asked to call troopers at (907) 745-2131. If indeed the thieves are considering a change to a more respectable career in the building trades, they may well need a little time in jail to brush up on a couple of valuable lessons, such as showing up to work to clock in at starting time instead of showing up early and buying your own tools instead of taking those someone else worked hard for and needs to keep working. Its obvious from the size of the items stolen that the suspects are capable of legitimate work, so perhaps there is a modicum of hope.
