A thing that I have noticed since I converted to Catholicism from Protestantism is that I dont really get angry whenever I have a debate. When I was a protestant, I saw myself getting so angry every time I debated catholics. Romans 2:8 (Douay-Rheims) But to them that are contentious, and who obey not the truth, but give credit to iniquity, wrath and indignation. Scripture says that if you do not accept the truth, you will become angry and hateful. I was angry and hated the catholics. Not that I am a catholic, Im chillin. I dont get angry with debates anymore (even though I am always in the minority because my family is largely protestant and constantly want to debate me so that I can see the light). So yeah, I can get offended, but not to the point where I am angry and feel hatred, as they can get. Ive seen them shout their lungs out, hit their bibles, and blaspheme at times. Im standing strong with the verse that comforts me: John 13:16 Amen, amen I say to you: The servant is not greater than his lord; neither is the apostle greater than he that sent him.
