A thought about OBAMAS frequent Political Fundraisers... Obamas frequent attendance at DEMOCRAT - LIBERAL - SOCIALIST fundraisers - even as all polls indicate that he is now the most unpopular president in modern history seems counter-intuitive... First, hes a lame duck. He will leave office two L O N G years from now. Second, WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE who attend these fundraisers??? CLEARLY, theyre not the poverty stricken, inner-city, working poor or struggling middle class Democrats. So who are they? What world-view are they bank-rolling? It is a reasonable inferrence to conclude that these are the well-to-do Liberal-Socialists whom have financed the gradual and irrevokable take-over of the Democrat Party over the last 50+ years. WHY do you suppose that these people have invested so heavily in this Democrat Party takeover rather than simply start a stand-alone Liberal or Socialist party?... Because they know that they cant succeed in marketing themselves for what they really are... died-in-the-wool Socialists who have NO ALLEGIENCE to the United States of America as it was founded - a Constitutional Republic! They dare-not put themselves in a position where their loyalty to this country can be openly questioned! Instead, its easier for them to do their damage in the shadows - hiding behind the window-dressing of preserving workers rights; womens rights; corporate injustice; multi-national business cabal, etc... Sadly, there is a well established tendancy for workers to be so distrustful of big business that they approach their party affiliation solely and simply on the basis of those same window-dressing platitudes - while never questioning that there might be a more sinister hidden agenda... If and when questions arise about liberal-socialist policies and practices by Obama and others - these same simplistic Democrats default to their anti-business, anti-wealth, anti-privilage instincts - turning a blind eye to any other possible hidden agenda. This description essentially defines the modern Democrat... When the rest of us encounter these people, we find that the LAST THING they want to do is engage in a probing discussion about things like their core-values and mis-placed loyalties... Democrats can regurgitate short phrases and talking-points - but when these are debunked, they resort to angry insults and demand that the discussion ends abruptly... This might be justifiably termed MSNBC Syndrome... Characterized by catch-phrases and false indignation... All persons with MSNBC Syndrome believe that they are morally superior - even when being unable to intelligently defend or articulate their own core beliefs... or the inconsistency of those ideologies vs. their religious beliefs, etc. They are a mile wide and an inch deep.... and they are MORONS! ...and yet they are the power base which under-pins that inigma that calls itself the modern Democrat Party. It seems to me that what we have to do about these people cannot succeed on a rational basis. It is a fools errand for us. I believe that these people need to be written off rather than converted. They conduct themselves as enemies within the gates of the United States of America. They need to be defeated rather than converted. CONVERSELY - we simply MUST engage and explain our own core values to our families and close friends. We should (hopefully) have well established credibility with them based upon our prior relationships. THEY ARE THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRY and we dare not take them for granted. SIMILARLY - we need to communicate with those who have disassociated themselves from either major party. They generally describe themselves as Independents or Decline to State their party affiliation. What they call themselves is irrevelant - especially if they have decided that voting is a waste of time. These people have been jaded by the general phoneyness of modern media-driven politics. They believe that their votes dont matter anyway... THEY are on the verge of giving up on our political system - and they are consequently pawns in the Socialist game... YOU AND I need to act on our core values and beliefs... WE need to make a conscious effort to motivate and inform OURSELVES to be better able to defend our system of government and articulate those values and ideas to our FAMILY and FRIENDS. And, YES... I know that weve all been told that we should always avoid a discussion of religion and politics... Hows that been working out for America?
