A tragedy. An idealistic young person did what his conscience - TopicsExpress

A tragedy. An idealistic young person did what his conscience dictated. No measurable harm was done to the US. No measurable benefit was given to any enemy. Yet, based on military rules he could spend the rest of his life in prison, depending on the judgment of one military officer; and the case could set precedents making it a serious crime for any journalist or citizen to publish anything to inform US citizens of anything that might be construed by the military to be aiding and abetting an enemy as they define enemies. This case could result in one of the greatest freedom restrictions in US history. Richard John Stapleton, effectivelearning.net, July 28, 2013
