A tragedy and a rescue. I was called Wednesday am to help two - TopicsExpress

A tragedy and a rescue. I was called Wednesday am to help two abandoned bobcats in desperate need. They were starving after their mother had been killed by a vehicle on A1a near Matanzas probably 4-5 days earlier. I was doing the meat run and couldnt leave right away, so I called my friend Dilyn Jackson (who is almost 7 months pregnant), she immediately left work to meet w Bart Piniaz (BP Builders Inc) & homeowners Tom & Susan, who had alerted us. After several hours of searching & with Barts help, she was able to capture one kitten. I arrived with Kia Spitzer several hours later to continue the search for the other. We whistled and heard the call of the hungry sibling. Another miracle took place and Kia was able to grab the 2nd kitten. We reunited the siblings and raced home to Single Vision to save the two. We quickly got to work to give them fluids and get them eating. We did it!!! Im currently working on my native wildlife rehabilitation. License under Cristine Janks of Carson Springs Wildlife who thankfully guided, directed, backed and advised us on every aspect of this incredible rescue. The two kittens lil Bart & J.J. were taken to Cristine today to continue their rehab & every attempt will be made to return them back to the wild. So blessed to have the help if such good friends and caring people to assist me in the rescue of these beautiful bobcats that were in such desperate need. They wouldnt have made it another day. Thank you all!!! If youd like to help us in our continued efforts and help me to work towards my rehab license and purchasing the equipment I need. Please visit our website at SingleVisionInc.org & donate through our PayPal link. I love wildlife and will make every effort to help :)
