This is not racism, it is stupidity mainly on DeSeans part. I do not see how The Eagles organization defamed DeSeans character if the organization gave an ambiguous reason. Wouldnt DeSean go after NJ or TMZ instead? Also, the Eagles organization gave Michael Vick a second chance and is one of few teams in the NFL which had more African American starting quarterbacks. I think DeSean made the case hard for himself posing in photos and throwing alleged gang signs. It is not uncommon for the league to distance itself from this behavior. Joe Namath received heat from Pete Rozolle because the bar allegedly had crime members as patrons or surrounding it. The Aaron Hernandez situation I believe inspired the Eagles to be proactive. Now the organization must question whether or not the break-in at Jacksons house had anything to do with the company he kept. I do not see this as a racial issue. Instead, I see it as Jackson not learning from people who went down that road before. Also, I heard someone say Harold Carmichael tried to mentor Jackson, but DeSean did not want to listen. DeSean brought this on himself. The great Cris Carter was cut for similar reasons and has gone on record to say Buddy Ryan saved his career and life. Maybe the Eagles origanization is doing the same years later to save DeSeans career and possibly life.
