The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), which oversees the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, invites public input on a GSENM Livestock Grazing Monument Management Plan Amendment to replace existing grazing management decisions. During the next 60 days, the BLM is seeking input from the public to determine relevant issues that will influence the scope of the environmental analysis, including alternatives, and guide the process for developing the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The BLM is hosting three scoping meetings for the public from 6:00-9:00 p.m., at the following locations: *December 10 in Kanab at the Monument Headquarters, 669 S. Highway 89A *December 11 in Escalante at the Interagency Visitor Center, 755 West Main *December 12 in Salt Lake City at the downtown city library You can also submit comments in writing to: [email protected] BLM GSENM, 669 S.
